Here are a few fun facts for you about April - In Ancient Rome the month of April was sacred to the goddess Venus. It is thought that the name April comes from the Latin word "to open" and describes the trees opening at springtime. lucky babies born in April get a diamond as their birthstone and April's birth flower is the daisy which conveys innocence, loyal love, and purity.

February Newsletter

February is a great month for festivities, important dates and special celebrations all over the world. We have pancake day here, or more traditionally known as Shrove Tuesday on the 17th. In America instead of Pancake Day they call it Mardi Gras which is French for "Fat Tuesday" with the famous parades taking place in New Orleans. Chinese New Year falls on the 19th this year and it will be the year of the goat according to the Chinese 12-year animal zodiac cycle. The date were especially excited about falls on the 14th of Februaryand we are sure you can probably guess that it is Valentines Day! keep reading to find out more.
