September Newsletter - New Prize Draw and a Baby On The Way!
Hello and welcome to the September edition of our newsletter. As the nights draw in the leaves on the trees give us a wonderful display of vibrant colours, Autumn is indeed a very special time of the year.
Sapphire, the September birthstone, has been popular since the Middle Ages and, according to folklore, will protect your loved ones from envy and harm. The most prized colors are a medium to medium dark blue or slightly violet blue. Sapphire is a variety of the gem species corundum and occurs in all colors of the rainbow.
Aster or September flower is the flower for this month. It is found in a number of colours – pink, red, white, lilac and mauve. The name of the flower which looks like a star is derived from the Greek word for star. The flower symbolises love, faith, wisdom and colour.
As many of you are aware I am due to have a baby in October – so look out for next months newsletter to see some pics of him!
